Kappa was adopted by Kelsey and Tyler in June, 2022 and will be a very important part of their special day! She takes her job as First Child very seriously and keeps a watchful eye on her humans at all times. If anything or anyone is out of place, she will give you sass and side eye.

Cindy was adopted by Kelsey and Tyler in September, 2023 and likes to spend her free time bullying her big sister. Cindy embraces being the youngest child and will bring all the energy to the party. She'll share all the wiggles and waggles.

Marshall has been a part of Tyler's life since Kindergarten when the Johnson's moved in down the street. At this time Tyler and Marshall told others to go away so they can be best friends. Los hombres were inseparable throughout school receiving the ire of teachers keeping them apart in class. Kelsey has known Marshall for years, although nobody can agree just how long (it's a long time). The two spent many years in school taking classes together and making inside jokes to pass the time when calculus became a little too easy. There is truly nobody better to officiate the ceremonious union of love for Tyler and Kelsey. They are thankful for the lifelong friendships they have found in Marshall and are excited to have him stand with them on their big day!

A wild coincidence of Hailey and Kelsey being brought into the world on the same day in the same hospital turned into a friendship when the two became neighbors and had lemonade stands on the same day just two houses apart - again, a wild coincidence. The "birthday twins" have remained friends for 20+ years and never miss an opportunity to reminisce on their lifetime of memories together from dance team days to begging for rides to school because the school bus forgot about us - again.

A friendship that began with writing a song for a GRMS science class soon blossomed into a friendship full of laughs and adventures. After years of watching Laura participate in local theater, the two friends now catch up on the Off-Broadway drama as Laura helps book shows coming to Portland; from coast to coast, the two have stayed connected for 12 years and counting!

After Tyler's first 3 summers firefighting, Miles OBrien showed up in Dufur making Tyler still the youngest on the fire engine, go figure. These two idiots proceeded to help run the East Zone MH fire district a few years before they could legally drink. While their relationship was a fleeting summer bromance each year, the friendship lasted post-firefighting as Tyler moved on to a different career and Miles filled his average-sized Scarpa boots.

While Helen has been labeled the best doggie auntie and roomie, she has also been a longtime friend of Kelsey's. The duo never miss an opportunity to debrief a dance competition, or put on a pair of cowboy boots for a good ol' line dance - filled evening. Kelsey has been thankful for a partner in crime during the past few years of new adventures!

While JL and Tyler went to school together in their younger years, this duo did not get close until college. Once they became "adults", they did all of the same things kids did: running around, playing games, and wasting time while making memories. Tyler's house became a home-away-from-home for Josh as he joined the household for summers during his Masters Program. The boys continue to get closer while making up for lost time.

While at first Maddie was forced to be Kelsey's emotional support co-worker, the two quickly became close friends who spend their free time together catching up on hot goss, trying new local cuisine, and attending concerts/local events. Kelsey enjoys sending Maddie puppy pics to convince her to join the "dog mom" club and give Kappa and Cindy a puppy friend to play with.

Tyler and Noah met on a day of forced volunteering at the University of Idaho. From there, Tyler was invited into a group of Noah's friends from Teton Valley, Idaho as they needed a fifth player for their League of Legends team. As the amount of League of Legends played waxed and waned, Tyler and Noah stayed in contact talking about sports and life because, after all, they are "same same, but different".
